Node is a participatory installation where each visitor embarks on an introspective journey through the tangled data generated by social media. The real-time movements of visitors, combined with live tweets from Twitter, form the foundation of the immersive auditory experience.
As participants move through the dark space, their relative positions trigger live conversations with fellow participants, experienced through personal headphones. These interactions are layered with distant voices and other sounds heard from the external space, creating a spatial yet alienating atmosphere.
Node is the final piece in the Twitter trilogy, following In Securities and Twitter Philosopher.
